Antje’s passion for pottery began in her homeland of Germany. She completed an apprenticeship at a salt-glaze pottery in Stadtlohn and studied Art and Design in Dortmund. Upon her arrival to Canada she studied Graphic Design at Canador College. For a decade, Antje apprenticed at a pottery in Muskoka. She opened her studio in 2000 eventually relocating to Tiny Township – near the shores of the spectacular Georgian Bay – where she maintains a studio and show room at her home.
