Seldom Seen

At McCowan Road, north of the Aurora Road, the road ends at a deep gully. This is the hamlet of Seldom Seen. It was not settled until after the 1860s. Even in present day, there is still no exit north from McCowan Road because of the deep ravine. It is possible that this bridge may have been destroyed during Hurricane Hazel in October of 1954.
